This month, we are mailing to our business and corporate friends in our Cape Ann service area, asking for their help crossing the finish line of our $5.5 million capital campaign by December 31st. As of the publication of this e-newsletter, we have less than $500,000 left to go, which is very, very exciting. But, in a relatively short time, we need everyone's help to reach our goal. We are also mailing our summer newsletter - a special Campaign edition - later this month. Please contact us, or go directly to our website - there is a link from this newsletter - and support the campaign now with your own contribution to support the children. Every donation brings us closer to our goal! |

For those who have visited our site at 29 Emerson
Avenue this year, you may have noticed the overgrown
grounds especially along the street. However, thanks
to Paul Soucy and a volunteer group from Gorton's
Seafoods who spent Monday, August 6th chopping,
cutting, pruning and shaping, our grounds are now in
tip-top shape! Eleven volunteers worked hard before
the rain set in to clean up our beautiful building. In
addition to landscape work, they cleaned windows
and playground equipment. Everyone was excited to
see the transformation, giving our children, their
families and staff a great sense of pride. Thank you
Gorton's!

Pathways is looking for volunteers to help some of our
self-employed parents who need assistance with
complicated new paperwork requirements from Head
Start. Your help will relieve the backup in our intake
office and often decrease the wait time for a child to
enter a program at Pathways. Please contact
Stephanie Walters, our Volunteer Coordinator, at 978-
281-2400 ext. 154 or swalters@pw4c.org if you are
interested in helping out.
