Young
Families Initiative Program
Care and support for teen parents
and their children is provided at Gloucester High School as
well as our Emerson Avenue center in Gloucester. Goals of the
program include fostering parenting skills, and helping the
teen parent complete high school. While their infants are provided
with early education, the program builds self-esteem, promotes
life goal-setting, and provides education, tutoring, and a support
network for these young parents. Eligibility guidelines apply,
program free to eligible students.

and determine eligibility, although there are some openings
for families whose incomes fall above the guidelines. Program
free to those who qualify.
