In addition to quality early education and care for children, what makes Pathways unique is the variety and abundance of family support services offered throughout our programs. We believe that parents are their child’s first and most important teacher. Research has shown a correlation between children’s success in their educational setting and the degree of involvement of their parents, so we make a variety of opportunities available.Pathwayshas a Social Service Department that includes Licensed Social Workers, Behavior Specialists and a Family Involvement Specialist. The Social Service Department also offers parent education and support groups throughout the year.We also schedule curriculum nights for families to visit their child’s classroom, talent shows, and family entertainment events.Make sure you read the monthly parent newsletter and review The Community Resource Guide and Parent Handbook which provide a wealth of information.
The Cape Ann Partnership for Children and Families
The Partnership is funded through the Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Grant by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care and managed by the lead agency, Pathways for Children. The Partnership works to ensure that all families on Cape Ann have resources, information and opportunities to enhance their family life and education experiences. Check out the Partnership Brochure and please complete and return the Questionnaire.

During our December 2011 Snow Ball, we were proud to honor Stacy Randell and 20 years of Cape Ann Families programs. Thanks to Cape Ann TV that special reception was preserved on video. Click here to enjoy the 17 minute tribute.
